Sunday Afternoon Tea Socials
Our Sunday afternoon Tea Socials are held the first Sunday of (most) months. Our Tea Socials are considered 'fancier' than other first Sunday dances. Tea Socials include custom dance programs centered around the theme. Whether it is a historical time period or fantasy (or a combination of both!), our Tea Socials feature dance leaders who teach each dance and then prompt as needed. Our style of dancing is founded on English Country Dance and other types of historical dance. At our Tea Socials, you will dance to the music of talented musicians playing for us, creating a symbiotic, enjoyable community dance. Our Tea Socials also feature a Tea Time break for socializing and enjoying delicious noshes, snacks, and of course Tea!. Most who attend enjoy dressing to the theme, while others enjoy the atmosphere and revelry! We admire costumes though they are never required to attend.
