DANCE PROGRAM
“The girls were wild for dancing...”
Persuasion by Jane Austen

This is a wonderful event to bring new dancing friends to!
BEGINNERS WELCOME!
NO PARTNER NEEDED!
If you do choose to wear a historical outfit and are looking for inspiration, imagine a daytime outfit from a Jane Austen movie or “Bridgerton.” Of course, Regency clothes meant for any time of day are welcome, as is historical dress of other periods and modern casual dress!

Important Costume Note:
Please be certain you can move easily in your costume and do not wear anything that would impede you or others while dancing. Please note dresses that trail on the ground are not allowed as they impede dancing for all. High heels are not recommended for this style of dance.
Though many dancers enjoy wearing the lovely costumes of the Regency era for this event, there are always friends in modern casual dress. We subscribe to the popular phrase, “Costumes admired but not required.”
COSTUMES
Enjoy a gracious Tea Time interlude midway through our Tea Social, where you may enjoy delicious hot tea, fizzy punch, delicate sandwiches, savory bites, and sweet confections, surrounded by warm conversation!
TEA TIME
