Evening Balls
Our evening Balls invite you to dress in your finest—whether that means silks and lace from a bygone era, imaginative themed costumes, or simply today’s more formalwear. With live music, elegant dances, and a mid-evening break for noshes and desserts, each Ball is a celebration of beauty, community, and delight. Our style of dancing is founded on English Country Dance and other types of historical dance, some dating back to the 1500s! At our Balls, you will dance to the music of talented musicians playing for us, creating a symbiotic, elegant and festive ball. Most who attend enjoy dressing to the theme, while others enjoy the atmosphere and revelry! We admire costumes though they are never required to attend.
