Hear Ye, Friends of Dance and Tea!
The Historical Tea & Dance Society extends its warmest invitation to an afternoon of Colonial merriment—an assembly of lively dances, stirring music, and cheerful fellowship.

More About the Event

Live Music & Calling
Renowned caller James Hutson will lead us through figures both graceful and merry, whilst The Westminster Society Players—Bob Altman, Linda Kodaira, Briana Bandy, and Cheryl Lopez—provide music to gladden every heart. All are welcome: no partner required, and beginners shall be guided with kindness.
Afternoon Tea
During our tea break, partake of tea, punch, and delectable morsels. Calling all hands on deck ~ look for an invitation to contribute a sweet or savoury for the board, and/or help at this event however you can!
What to Wear
Costumes admired but by no means required. Colonial or Regency daytime dress is most fitting, yet modern garb is perfectly acceptable.
Please avoid high heels, trailing trains, swords, or any encumbrance that might trouble a fellow dancer.
Pray note: sneakers and rubber-soled shoes ill-suit the dance, for they cling to the floor. Choose instead soft-soled shoes that glide upon the floor. They shall serve you well and best.
